Wind-related terrain attributes

Whitebox GAT includes several tools for using digital elevation models (DEMs) to examine the relative exposure/sheltering from wind within landscapes. These tools include:

• Directional relief
• Exposure towards a wind flux
• Fetch analysis
• Horizon angle
• Relative aspect
• Streamline terrain
